A Little About Me
Dr. Dan Peterson
Born and raised in East Central Minnesota in Northern Isanti County. Graduated from Ogilvie High School located in Kanabec County. Obtained a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota-Crookston. Finished up schooling by achieving a DVM from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013.
Hobbies include attempting to be the best father and husband I can be, hunting, fishing, camping, sports, and relaxing by a warm campfire with the people I love the most.
Northbound Veterinary Services was started January of 2022. Before then, I practiced livestock veterinary medicine locally as an associate veterinarian at the Mille Lacs Veterinary Group where I started right after graduating from vet school in 2013. My current plan is to start small and slowly build up. I currently work out of my home and truck with plans to grow as needed in the future.
I’m very excited to be able to continue practicing livestock veterinary medicine in the East Central and surrounding Minnesota areas. With a decade of experience treating livestock, I will always do my best to promote the producer and their way of life by aiding in the care of their animals that they love and work with on a daily bases.
